Marin County Legal Professionals Association

We meet the second Thursday of even-numbered months: February, April, June, August, October, and December, at 6:00PM in Novato at Sam’s Restaurant, 1545 South Novato Blvd, Novato, CA (415-209-6668).

Thank you for your interest in Marin County Legal Professionals Association, a non-profit, professional association for legal support staff. Membership in MCLPA is open to all people employed in law offices, the courts, and other businesses of a legal nature in Marin County. Chartered in 1955 as the Marin chapter of Legal Secretaries, Inc. (LSI), we provide legal assistants with continuing education, networking, and benefits. Practicing law in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world is challenging. Law offices can be demanding and stressful workplaces. LSI and MCLPA help you meet the challenge!

Please join us if you are a legal professional or thinking about becoming one!

Beginning at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin County extends north to the wine region of Sonoma County, west to the Pacific Ocean and east along San Francisco Bay. The region is diverse, with tidal flats along the coastline and the rugged Mount Tamalpais rising 2,600 feet in the background. In the county seat of San Rafael, our courthouse is located in a Frank Lloyd Wright design fondly referred to as “Big Pink.”
